Monte Vardia - Chania (Crete)

Lovely hotel with excellent staff! The location of this hotel is perfect for those arriving late in the evening at Chania airport and needing a comfortable place to stay before continuing their journey around the island. The receptionist was waiting up for us and made us feel welcome despite the late hour. The rooms are clean, quiet, and equipped with comfortable beds. Plus, the black-out blinds ensure a good night's sleep. The hotel also offers basic amenities, such as rooms with a balcony, where you can enjoy a beautiful view.

One small aspect that could be improved is the noise from the refrigerator. However, once you locate the source, it's easy to turn it off and enjoy a peaceful night's sleep.

the rooms are air-conditioned with extra large beds, and the staff are excellent.

The staff was fantastic, and the pool here is great, they also offer delicious breakfast and convenient onsite parking.

We could see the sparkling sea in the distance, creating the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The pool was also a highlight, providing a refreshing escape from the warm weather. The staff were helpful, we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast spread was good, with delicious options to start our day. We enjoyed the peaceful location, away from the city's hustle and bustle, yet still close enough to explore. we highly recommend this hotel for a nice and enjoyable experience.

This hotel is a gem. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a fantastic stay. They are attentive, friendly, and really make you feel welcome. We loved the hotel's location near the airport for our first night in Crete. The breakfast was abundant and delicious with freshly prepared pancakes and eggs. The hotel facilities were clean and the swimming pool was excellent. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive.

The value for our money was excellent, and the room wasnice and neat. The location was perfect, with a fine view of the Venician Port and the mountains beyond.

Breakfast offerings could be improved with fluffier towels.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making our stay all the more enjoyable. Our room had a beautiful view of the surrounding areas and the pool area was well-designed and surrounded by a variety of flowers and trees. The location was also perfect for us, being close to town and the airport while also providing easy access to nearby beaches.

Honestly, there wasn't much we disliked about our stay. The only downside was the occasional noise from traffic on the nearby road, but the stunning view and peaceful pool area quickly made us forget about it.

During my New Year stay, the hotel offered fresh fruits and water in the room upon arrival, a lovely touch. the hotel is conveniently located near supermarkets and restaurants. the pool area is clean and spacious. I enjoyed the fact that breakfast had a variety of options, including fresh orange juice and Greek yogurt, and staff were happy to cook scrambled eggs to order.

The hotel is located on a road with some traffic noise, which may disturb light sleepers. the hotel is not within walking distance to the town centre or beach, so guests may need to rely on taxis or public transportation to get around.
